My asus used to connect to wifi a week ago but now there is no wifi on the asus

Technician's Assistant: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?

Less than a year how do I check the model

Technician's Assistant: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?

Its' been around 10 days, I tried the following: 1. turn off router and turn on

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Android Expert to know before I connect you?

2. search on google for solutions, nothing matches powered down auss and powered on

In my initial chat with the rep I gave her a list of things that I had already done and one of them was powere down, etc and another was turning the outer offf/ on
I also told her that there is only Bluetooth and no WIFI adapter

Also told her that the WIFI was working about 10 days ago since it was purchased last year, less than a year ago

okay, unfortunately the only option will be a reset.

When FACTORY RESET is performed, all data, apps, settings and personal information will be deleted after initialization.

Tap " Reset phone " in " Settings " -> " Backup & reset " -> " Factory data reset ".

There is no Reset Phone in setting, and the ASUS I have is not a phone

okay, try this please>

Follow these steps please:

Click the Start menu icon button

Then open Settings (the gear icon)

On the Settings page click Network & Internet

From the menu on the left side of the page select Status

At the bottom of the page click

Network Reset

Reset Now

I had also mentioned that there is no WI-FI to select from in settings which means a network adapter is missing
but the system does have bluetooth

okay, try this next please>

Right click on your Windows start menu icon,

then select device manager,

then click on the arrow to the left of network adapter to populate the list,

then right click on the network adapter name,

then choose uninstall,

choose okay,

then reboot the computer.

The adapter will automatically reinstall with fresh settings. Then check for wifi.

I uninstalled all and restarted, and the 2 Bluetooth and the WAN family of 8 appeared bu no WI-FI

already done, see previous instructions you gave, tried more than 3 times, nothing works, I think I only need the name of the WI-FI adapter for ASUS Transformer Mini, once I know the name, I can download it from the internet, copy to a USB and install on the ASUS

I had already downloaded this before and installed. Once again it does not work. The WI FI option does not appear and I therefore cannot connect to the home WI FI

Okay, that sound like the WiFi adapter hardware has failed.
The best option will be to use a USB WiFi adapter.

I have not rated the service, as I am yet to receive the item from Amazon. It is expected end of September and provided it works. I have already been charged $30 for this service when I was told only $5 will be reatined. No indication was given about the cost. There was a lot of unnecessary back and forth when I had clearly explained, I had already tried everything and what was needed. I will rate the service once my ASUS is up and running with connection to Internet
