I have a question about texting. When I text an incorrect word and I click on the word for corrections, the text options are in black and you can't read it.
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: S7, 11 months not old
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: It didn't start doing this until the updates were installled a few weeks ago It is very frustrating not to be able to read the options
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?

I have no idea. I just use the message icon to text.

Can you please hold the power button on the phone until you see a menu and choose power off

Then power it on and tell me how it now functions please

Nothing has changed. It is still black background that you cannot read the words. I am frustrated. And I need to leave my house in five minutes so I would like this resolved before I leave.

Please go to settings, applications manager, press on the three dots in the top right then press show system apps.

Locate messages, them press it and press storage then clear Cache

Restart the phone and tell me how it then looks please

It won't allow me to clear cache. It will only allow me to clear data

ok, then we will need to choose clear data, please do this, it may remove your messages but we cannot avoid this
