I have a new Samsung J1 2016 pre paid mobile. Since purchase I have been able to receive texts but when sending the message is "message failed". I have checked the message centre number that is OK. No problem with telephone calls. I contacted Samsung chat last week but was cut off. They told me to remove SIM for 5 seconds.vDone. I should also say I receive a weak signal 2 bars. they checked and reported no problems in my area Stirling 5152 SA
