I went into my settings yesterday and somehow locked my screen. I cannot scroll or switch pages. My phone looks like the zte grand x series. Is there any way I can do a factory reset since I cannot get to my settings and this is a sealed phone so I cannot remove the battery.

Customer: a year to a year and a half old
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Since yesterday. I have tried to go to my settings to see if I could undo whatever it was I did but I can't get into my settings

Sorry for the delay, my internet went down yesterday. Here's the reset:

  1. Ensure the phone is turned off.
  2. Press and hold the Volume up button, then press the Power button and let go.
  3. Scroll to wipe data/factory reset using the Volume down button.
  4. Press the Power button.
  5. Scroll to Yes -- delete all user data using the Volume down button.
  6. Press the Power button.
  7. The phone will wipe your data and restore to factory condition.
  8. Hold the power button once the display goes off, and your phone should be restored.
