I have this error massage :unfortunately ,the process has stopped
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: HTC yr old
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: just happened today when I was heading home
JA: Anything else you want the android expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: thats the only problem

I'd like to ask: Does that error pop up, when you try to start one app, or a small handful of apps?

Try going to



and find the app in question.

Tap on the app's listing there, and on the following page hit

Clear cache

to see whether the app now starts OK without the error message.

If that doesn't work and the error persists and is still related to a particular app or handful of apps, then do the same only hit

Clear data

to see if that helps (corrupted data could cause this crash message.)

If it is a constant message seemingly all the time, or not related to any obvious "I just tried to start an app" association of events... then try this:

All apps
Google play services
Tap on clear cache
Tap on Manage space
Tap on clear all data.
