Re: internal chip. I have 2 Samsung SCH-U310 phones. Is it

Customer Question

Re: internal chip. I have 2 Samsung SCH-U310 phones. Is it possible to swap the internal authentification chip from one phone to the other?
JA: How old is the phone?
Customer: Not Sure, ten years, I think
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I have not had any trouble. The second phone is a spare. When my phone dies I plan to move the chip from it to phone #2 if possible
JA: Anything else you want the Android expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Nope. I'd like to know if this is possible

The chip is embedded on the main board inside the phone, and this board could be swapped from one handset to another if necessary.
