JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: Several weeks.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Went to Kindle account. Couldn't change account #.

You can change that info on your computer by going to the web site and then sign in.

To change your credit card information (such as the expiration date), you do so on Go to and then change your credit card information.

  1. On the Settings link, click Account Info. The Account Information page appears.
  2. Click the Edit button next to Credit Card Information. The Credit Card Information page appears.
  3. If you want to select a different credit card, click Select a different credit card here. If you click this link, the Select a Different Credit Card page appears.
  4. Select an existing card, or enter information about a new card if desired.
  5. When you are finished, click Continue. The Specify Billing Address page appears.
  6. Enter the full billing address in the boxes provided.
  7. When you are finished, click Update to save your changes.
