Customer Question

Just discovered that my Kindle was lost, I believe a few weeks ago. When I checked Amazon online, my device did not show up. I called Amazon customer service where the contact said the device had been re-registered by someone else. She de-registered it, and then de-registered it on my account and listed it as lost or stolen. Now the Kindle does not show up on my account, although the Kindle Cloud reader does (which I read on my computer). Should my deregistered Kindle (named Georgie's Kindle) show up on my Amazon account?

I'm sorry about the issue. A deregistered kindle will not show up on your Amazon account any more. Basically, when you deregister a kindle, it means you want to get rid of that kindle or to transfer the kindle to someone else. So that's why a deregistered kindle will not be listed on your Amazon account.

Do you have any further question and/or do you need anything else for now?
