My zte android phone suddenly stopped working] almost 2

Customer Question

my zte android phone suddenly stopped working]
JA: How old is the phone?
Customer: almost 2 years
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: it won't get past the startup screen, I have only removed the back cover (in a desperate attempt for a posssible solution). Other that that I have just been turning it on and off and charging it
JA: The Android expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?
Customer: does this cost money?

You can master reset using hardware keys. To perform a master reset, follow these steps:

  1. With the device turned off, press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons until the ZTE logo screen appears, then release.
  2. Press the Volume down button to highlight wipe data/factory reset.
  3. Press the Power button to select.
  4. Press the Volume down button repeatedly until Yes -- delete all user data is highlighted.
  5. Press the Power button to select.
  6. Wait as the device resets.

Hi thanks for your help.. I got to the menu but is there any chance of keeping all of my data (important pictures etc) for work and my business?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
would wiping the cache possibly help at all?
Expert:  Randy Boman replied 1 year ago.

does it have reboot system now listed there?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it does.... is that a possible solution without loosing all of my data??!
Expert:  Randy Boman replied 1 year ago.

yes, you can try any of those options ans see if it will boot up. If it does you may be okay, if you get it back on be sure and back up your important data immediately.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
