You will need to power the tablet off, then

  1. Press and hold the Power button (located on the right edge) until the Samsung logo appears, then release.
  2. When the Samsung logo screen appears, press and hold the Volume down button.
  3. Continue to hold the Volume Down buttonuntil Safe mode appears in the lower left corner of the screen.
    This may take up to 30 seconds.


  1. Use device specific instructions to place the device in Safe Mode.
  2. From the Home screen, navigate: Apps > Settings.
  3. Tap Apps / App Manager / Manage Apps.
  4. Tap the app to be removed.
  5. Tap Uninstall.
  6. Tap OK.
  7. Press the Power button to restart the device.
