Hi. When I open the menu on my kindle and choose the option to shop in kindle store the screen is blank. The shop wont open like per normal. I have switched the device off and on again. The problem persists.

Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Can you please press and hold (or slide and hold) the Power on / off button / switch on the kindle for about 45 seconds, then turn it back on and check.

- If needed, go to menu, then go to Wi-Fi / wireless option and make sure it is connected to your Wi-Fi / wireless network name.

- If needed, disconnect the power cord(s) from your internet modem / router device(s) for a few minutes, then re-connect. Then wait a bit, then go to the Wi-Fi / wireless option on the Kindle and make sure it is connected to your Wi-Fi / wireless network name.

- If needed, go to menu, then device / settings, etc., and reset to factory defaults, and check.

- If it still does not work, please let me know the model of your kindle, such as regular kindle, kindle paperwhite, kindle fire, etc.

Hi. I have done everything you said. The device still is not opening the kindle shop. I have a Kindle Paperwhite. Thanks

I'm sorry. Did you do the following:

  1. From Home, tap the Menu icon, and then tap Settings.
  2. Tap the Menu icon again, and then tap Reset Device. Your Kindle will restart.
  3. Then set up the kindle when prompted, and check.

Sorry, it is strange. After resetting the kindle, did it let you connect to your Wi-Fi and register / sign in your Amazon account?

What's the model of your Kindle PaperWhite, such as 7th Generation, 6th generation, etc.?

Hi. I did sign into my account. I dont use Wifi but it works on 3G. I bought the Kindle on 21 June 2014. On the box and instruction book ot only says Kindle Paperwhite.

Sorry, it looks like there is a wireless antenna / network hardware issue on your kindle device. If you have a computer, then you can purchase books on the computer
