Customer Question

I have an older Kindle (Wi-fi and 3G) that we inherited from a deceased relative. We were ordering her books for her on this Kindle, and I assumed it would be easy to deregister and then re-register this Kindle to our family library, which is on my amazon account. But now I can't get the Kindle to connect via Wi-fi, and we have an empty Kindle except for some preloads. Please help!

I'm sorry about the issue. What is the error or message when connecting the kindle to Wi-Fi?

What is the brand/model of your Internet/wireless modem/router device?

Do you have a laptop/wireless computer that is currently able to connected via wireless? If so, does it have Windows xp, vista, or 7, 8, or Mac?

Please reply at the box below. Thank you.
