Android Questions? Ask Android Device Experts for Answers ASAP
Hi and Welcome. My Name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you today with your question.
Is your entire tablet affected or just the internet browser ?
Open Play Store. Download Avast Ransomware Removal tool and run it. Does it find anything ?
It is ok. Take your time.
If that didn't work, then go to Settings > Applications or Application Manager. Under Downloaded and also under All tab, do you see any unusually named applications ?
Apps like Badoink, anall lock screen, flash player etc ?
Also go to Settings, then click on Security and select Device administrators and do you see Anall lock screen there ?
Open Avast and scan with it. Does it find any virus ?
If Avast finds anything, then remove them. Then go to Settings tap on Security and select Device administrators. In Device Administrators do you see Anall lock screen ?
Hi there, Just checking. How is it going ?
Then your only option is factory reset the tablet. That virus has affected the system files. Connect the tablet to your computer with the USB cable and backup all your important files like photos, documents etc
Then go to Settings > Accounts and select your account and sync
After that, go to Settings > backup & reset and do the factory reset from there.
Factory reset will erase everything from the tablet including the virus. So backup your important files before doing factory reset
