My cell phone uses Android 4.2.2. An embedded program, NoteBook, had an icon to access the app. It is gone but when I go to Settings:Apps:All the app is there and I can Launch it. However there is no choice to get the icon back.
Can you help me get it back?

Hi there,
If it's still showing in All Apps, then it is still installed on your phone, it's just not in the right place.
Go to Personalize and try to add the app to your home screen - does NoteBook show up?

My version did not have a personalize and home screen. I figured out another workaround. I downloaded Google Now which has a different "launcher" and I used that. It had my Notes app
