No it's the password ***** the Samsung galaxy note 3 phone that I bought used

Thank you for the update.
In this case, you will have to factory reset the phone, which will erase all including the password ***** it.
- Press and hold the following three buttons at the same time for 8 seconds. (The phone will reload).
- Let go of all the buttons when you see the Samsung logo.
- In the recovery menu, use the volume keys to scroll and highlight "wipe data/factory reset".
- After it is selected, press the power button to make the selection.
- In the next menu, use the volume keys to choose the "Yes ----- delete all user data" option.
- Press the Power button to select that.
- Choose to reboot system now.
Once it reboots, you will be all good to go with no password.
