Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.The first advice I could offer would be, to usepartedto reformat the /cache partition. (Only that partition, of course.) If that is impossible or otherwise difficult, you might want to try re-doing / re-formatting that partition, using Linux utilities as appropriate and as included in either DSL Linux or Knoppix (both of which are bootable or LiveCD copies of Linux - Linux-on-a-disk.) If the device cannot boot off a CD, install DSL or Knoppix onto a USB flash drive, which can be booted off of.
