Samsung tablet, SM-T800. internet has been hijacked. AVG, Malwarebytes, Vipre, Avast, Kaspersky do not detect a problem. The virus/malware locks the internet screen. web history tabs and menu are locked. Display says Call this number,xxxxxxxxxxx to fix this problem. John **************************

Your Tab is affected with ransomeware. Have you tried Avast! Ransomware Removal tool ? If not, install it and run it.
If that didn't work, then Power off the device. Press and hold the Power key for one or two seconds to turn on the device. Immediately, press and hold the Volume down key until the lock screen displays. This will boot your Tab to Safe Mode.
Then goto Settings > Application Manager (or Applications). Swipe left to All tab next to Installed, Running etc
Find and select Internet, Chrome or the application which is affected. Then tap Force Stop and tap Clear Data. This will clear it.
Please let me know if that didn't work, so we can continue troubleshooting.
