My Kindle Fire is totally unresponsive.

My Kindle Fire is totally unresponsive. The screen is black, the power button does not turn green when pushed, and there is no orange light when the charger is connected. We just received this device last Wed.!!! I have only downloaded 2 books and one game app (Angry Birds) from Amazon. HELP~!!

1- Please press and hold the power button on the bottom of the device for 20 seconds.

2- After the 20 seconds, please release the power button
