Hi Mikael,
The hydraulic filter has been replaced. Have not replaced the shift selector wire harness. Sometimes the tractor operates as it should, smoothly and timely. However, usually and lately, when depressing the clutch to move forward or reverse there is a 1 to 3 second pause after letting the clutch our and then an abrupt jump and sometimes stalling. When it stalls sometimes the N and Transmission lights both appear. Sometimes the N and Transmission lights come on when the foot clutch is out and the reverser lever is moved to forward or reverse without stalling the engine or moving. At that point I shut off the ignition switch, shift to N and restart the engine. There does not seem to be any problem using the forward reverser lever if the foot clutch is not touched. Also, usually, the rpms will oscillate by 2 to 4 hundred at idle. Thanks - George

Replace the shift selector harness and let's see how it goes.

Mikael, Is 'shift selector harness' the words I would use to order this part, is this something an amateur can accomplish and is there a part number I can refer to? Also, would you make a suggestion regarding which shop repair manual I could order, there are so many to choose from and I don't know which are quality for a farmer to use. Thanks, George
Yes, that's the word to use. Have no idea about the part number. To be on a safer side, an expert should handle this not an amateur.
