Sorry to hear you're having troubles with your John Deere tractor. The symptoms you are describing is an indication of either a clutch that is out of adjustment or is in need of replacement and is slipping. Check for any signs of fine metal or debris within the oil and filter/screen that would confirm or flag internal mechanical problems requiring disassembly of the transmission and PTO assembly for further inspection for repair or rebuild. If all this is clean, you are likely looking at clutch replacement. It is a pleasure to help anyway I can.
