Hi, let's see if we can work together to get to the root of your problem! will try my best to help!
Joystick control? Is the joystick moving the bucket spool? Does the spool feel normal? The first thing to check on the unit is the two hoses from the bucket cylinders to the quick connects on the loader valve. Remove the two hoses and reconnect. What happens is one hose moves on the valve, and the check valve built into the quick connect, closes the passage for oil, and locks the cylinder from moving in either direction. Don't go by how the connection looks, remove it and reinstall.
So the spool is stuck? The lower section of the spool is a cover with spring and retainers in it. Spring or retainers can be rusted up .
Sure sounds like a quick connect problem to me!
Have you removed the bucket hoses from the valve and reconnected?
With one hose getting hard, I would remove the quick connects and hook up hoses direct, or run them into a bucket, to test the valve before spending $1000 on a new valve section!
I see the question is still open, did you find the problem?
