Light is indicator for the pto. Should be lite anytime pto is on It really should not vary in brightness, but can be related to the output of the charging system. Is charging system keeping battery charged? Foot pedal or hand throttle should no affect it. Is this a used tractor purchase? Lite is not a real problem, as it does not affect pto operation, and it is working to show pto is engaged.
