I have a BX2230. I believe the starter is bad. Over the course of the summer when I would go to start, I would turn the key and only get a clicking noise. Would take 3 to 5 times before it would catch. Now nothing.
JA: What is the complete model and serial number of your machine?
Customer: Do not have the serial # on me.

I will help you with this

1st thing to do is measure the voltage at the starter battery cable

your looking for 12.8 +volts , then see what it is when

turn key , if stays the same or drops below 9.0v then yes the starter
