I have a John deere stx 46 turn the key nothing happens
JA: What is the complete model and serial number of your machine?
Customer: model is STX 46
JA: Are you fixing this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes myself just charging the batterie
JA: Anything else you want the agriculture mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no I am guess it is one of the safety interlocks

No click from the fuel solenoid at carburetor, when key is flipped on and off? If not, sounds like the keyswitch has no voltage to it, and common cause is the ignition fuse being blown. Locate the fuse and see if it is blown.

I don't have owners manual, but usually behind the engine, ear the starter solenoid and battery. Wire comes from the positive battery terminal on the starter solenoid, through the fuse, to the keyswitch

Looking at the wiring diagram, there is no fuse shown, but a fusible link, # 7 in the diagram below. It is kike a fuse, but soldered into a wire, it will be near starter.
