Shows to be a Briggs twin engine. First thing to do is run a cylinder balance test. Lossen the spark plug wires, and with the engine idling, remove one plug wire at a time. Engine should continue to run. If engine dies when one wire is removed, the opposite cylinder is not firing. Check it for spark and compression. With Briggs twin, if it has spark and compression and is not firing, check the valve operation on the dead cylinder. Bent or broken pushrod is common.
