i have a john deere 750 compact utility tractor. im replacing the alternator and regulator. my question is: the alternator has two blue wires and the regulator has two blue wires, which blue wire do i connect. unfortunately the wire harness has been messed with, so i cant simply conect the oem alternator harness with the two wires coming from the regulator.

Hello my name is***** hope to step you in the right direction.

the problem with this is with out havng the oem parts and wiring harness if you just attach the wire you could back feed your regulator and burn it out.

you might have to get order the oem wire harness to get what you need
