Hi I'm Wayne

I will help you with this

sounds to me that you knocked a wire off the PTO switch, or the neutral safety switch, check them, a wire is loose from some where

I hope this helped you

NOT THE POOR/BAD SERVICE

I check all my wires and nothing is wrong. It's a physical issue, when I throw the arm/engage the blades it shuts down the tractor. Is there something physically that I could have done wrong? Some sort of safety that is preventing the tractor blades from engaging? They spin for a few seconds then the tractor dies.
Customer
The belts are on all of the pulleys and nothing is wrong that I see.

Hi Sorry for the delay

our computer was out for almost 2 hours

the only thing I can think of is the safety switch

did you check all fuses ,

also unplug the PTO clutch , see if it still does that

Customer
No problem. When I push in the clutch on the left hand side of the tractor to move the deck up and down it doesn't feel right. Also, the dial that sets the depth of the deck won't continuously spin clockwise. It gets hung up on 4" whereas it use to go past 4" and back to 1"
Customer
I will check the fuses and clutch after dinner. But this feels like a mechanical issue when I push the clutch in and try and raise and lower the deck..ugghhh!

Thank you for that

Yes that is unusual all worked fine before blade change ??

yes try that unplug the PTO clutch

Customer
When I activate the blades with the "engage handle" it 'opens' a switch under the hood, however for some reason it kills the engine. So, I bypassed that safety switch by keeping it in the 'closed' position under the hood to temporarily make it work. So, I'm thinking there could be a bad relay or there is another switch that is bad under the tractor. I have not unplugged the PTO clutch yet.
Customer
We are getting closer;)

Morning

yes unplug that switch, see what it does

yes getting closer

Hi

Just a follow up with you

did my answer help you
