I have a 1997 New Holland 1530. the mid pro is leaking oil

Customer Question

I have a 1997 New Holland 1530. the mid pro is leaking oil and vibrates. the assumption is that it is in need of new seals and bearings. I have removed 7 bolts from the case or housing and cannot seem to get it to move. Is there something I missed? Or does the RTV sealant really hold on that tight? If so How do I get the sealant to release??

Shown to have 8 bolts! See the link above!

you must have the wrong diagram. only 7 and I eventually pried it off with a 2x4 between the trans and pro shaft.

Diagram is right out of the 1530 parts list! Good job! I can only go by what it shows!
