Customer Question

I have a 757 Z Trak John Deere zero turn. When I try to engage the mower it blows the fuse. What do you think the issue could be?

The wires to the electric clutch , under the engine may be shorted out, or the clutch itself. Check the wire harness, if you see no problem, unplug the clutch wires and then turn on switch. Ifit does not blow the fuse, the clutch needs to be checked, it may be shorted internally. I can be checked with an ohmmeter to see if it is shorted to the outer pulley.
