M135X Tractor will go in reverse but will not go forward.

M135X Tractor will go in reverse but will not go forward. Code E-R44 Tried changing switches on top of transmission using Low switch and changed with the shift switch (not high) Tractor moves about 2" in forward stops and gives code. We are 100 miles from closest dealer but have talked with service department.

Operating round baler. The second last bale tractors shifted hard into forward, jumped ahead. Next bale backed up and would not go forward. Checked hydraulic oil and it was down as we found leaky hydraulic hose. Topped up oil but still only reverse

One service manager on phone guessing could be #8 master solenoid inside transmission. Our decision is if a Kubota tech can diagnose and repair problem in our shop or do we need to truck it 100 miles.
