Customer Question

I have an LA145 lawn tractor that has slipped a belt from the drive mech.
I cannot get the belt back on due to a pin that is a belt guard around the pulley at the rear housing. How can that pin be removed so I can get the belt back on? The pin seems to be a piece of hex stock that has been cut down so I don't know if there are threads at the end of the pin or what.....Very difficult to turn......
