I have a 1985 Deere 750 Crawler. When I push the right turn

Customer Question

I have a 1985 John Deere 750 Crawler. When I push the right turn peddle going forward it starts a popping noise in the right rear side. It turns with no trouble while popping . It then stays in the rt. turn mode even after letting up on the peddle until I move from forward to reverse then back in forward . It then goes straight with no popping. No trouble turning left. What is the problem and how do I get to it to check it. I do not have a service manual but would buy one at a reasonable price. Need to know detailed info.

Hi I'm Wayne

I will help you with this

when was the last time you adjust the tracks

are the adjusters taking grease OK

are they leaking out

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I have not adjusted the tracks because I just bought it 3 mos. ago. I can do this if you can tell me the how.
Expert:  Wayne replied 1 year ago.

Lay a 2x4 6 foot across the track

and got to the track adjuster ,pump grease in it until the track has 1/2" play

from the 2x4, watch if grease pours out the ends and track not moving

I hope this helped you
