My brother in-law owns a 7720 John Deere combine.He's having problems with it overheating when its sitting idol and nothing running.The oil gets over 200 degrees .Is that normal. And what should he check .He replaced the Hydrostatic drive thinking that had something to do with it.He later said that wasn't it.Does thase models have a cooling coil ?

200 F is not hot for hydraulic oil.??? How high does it go? Does it show to be causing a problem? Hydraulic oil is not overheating until it exceeds 260 F. There is no oil cooler on the unit, other than a small air cooler that looks more like a power steering cooler.
