Is the charging system working? Do you have a voltmeter to test with? Check battery voltage before starting, should be around 13 volts, then start engine ad run at 3/4 throttle, voltage should now be at least one more volt, say 14 volts. Now turn on the blades and check again, does the voltage stay above 12 volts? If it does all this , charging system is ok. If not, the voltage regulator or the stator (alternator ) may be bad.
