When I make a turn at the end of a row, with my 10ft leveler

Customer Question

When I make a turn at the end of a row, with my 10ft leveler [quite heavy] , if I raise it up all the way, occasionally it will not lower not even a little bit. The mechanic after the 3rd time somehow depresses the brake pedals and after a few times the Hydralics work again. Some kind of a safety feature so you will always have brakes?,so he says!! This has caused considerable loss time in the field and is a super pain in the arse. I can't make the brake pedal thing work. Just short of letting the tractor go back in October, and no mechanic has a good explanation, is there a way to override this or an aftermarket application. Has there been a recall? It's a 2015 4610. See if any of this is the Problem.

3 point arms raise but not lower

Light on dash flashes when lever is moved

Check the following possible issues:

  • Check the rate of the drop knob. To increase drop speed rotate the knob counterclockwise.
  • Check the draft sensor arm for the correct adjustment. See attached document.
    • NOTE • 262 mm is the correct adjustment.
  • Check arm position sensor/adjustment for possible damage or misaligned sensor fork. See attached document.
  • Complete the “wake up” procedure for the 3 point system.
  • Poor connection in the 3 pin connector at the draft control switch.

Wake up procedure:

  1. Turn the draft knob to the “OFF” position.
  2. Cycle the 3 point lever till an audible beep occurs.
  3. The 3 point system should be active and the draft control can be adjusted.
