i have a john deere 4wd 2007 5203 tractor. clutch went out. i thought the bad clutch was somehow causing the tractor to not free roll but when splitting the tractor apart to replace clutch we found the rear wheels were still very bound up. tried releasing had. lines to relax had brake...
Any thoughts?

Brakes had pressure on them? Brake valve or brake pedal is not fully retracting, form mud or rust build up. If not the pedal, the brake valve is sticking, and not opening the bleed port.
