VerifiedDoes hand wheel keep turning or is it hard to move? Hand wheel can just freewheel and be ok. If hand wheel is hard, do wheels move at all? If you raise the front of unit, are the spindles loose, allowing the wheels to move? If spindles and hand wheel turn, the problem is the power steering cylinder. Turn hand wheel and figure out which hose at cylinder is pressure, and remove the opposite hose on the cylinder, then turn hand wheel and if oil pours through the cylinder and it does not move, the cylinders internal seals are leaking. And cylinder needs repair.

JD 3320 compact utility tractor***** 1400 hours Problem;; Past 200 hrs or so the tractor movement has a one second or so delay after the shuttle is placed in the forward or reverse position. The front end loader has also been slow to respond. Both problems are present even when the machine is warmed up. This past week end the tractor sudden stopped moving. power steering dead front end loader dead also. Hyd fluid level ok. The hyd fluid was changed a while back and the large filter screen was cleaned. the drained fluid was clean as well. I mistakenly but Tractor Supply 303 oil in the machine Currently I have drained all of the 303 out. It didn't look that dirty. it almost looked like fresh oil. the screen filter was clean. The rubber manifold on top of the power steering and front end loader hyd pumps had a crack in it were the the suction tube from the trans case connects to the manifold. I have ordered a new rubber manifold. I will be putting JD Hyd fluid back in it when I get the new manifold in the next few days. So I have two questions: Could the crack in the rubber manifold cause the machine to not move and the loader and steering to not function?
