Fuel solenoid clicks, and you are getting black smoke from exhaust? Sounds like fuel quality is bad! Have you tried a small shot of starting fluid? Be sure the fuel solenoid is actually moving when it clicks.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Tried starting fluid with no avail put hand on solenoid and it hits hard. Ran it down on fuel cause I was leaving town for a while once I finally got back filled it with fresh fuel. Every thing is internal on engine. Some times it seems like it might start but negative

The injectors are tied together with a common rack, if you remove the rocker cover, does this rack move freely or could it be stuck?

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

The rack has to open and close the fuel to the injectors.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Have not got that far. Are you speaking about the rockers on top
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
That's not easily accessible
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

Yes, the injectors on this engine are cam operated, and all have a common rack that ties them together. It is the stop and throttle for them. # ***** in link is the rack.

How can I continue with you if that is not the problem
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I would need time to access the engine and remove all that is necessary
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.

Sure take all the time you need.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Not finished. I cannot answer his question without dis assembling a part of engine. And that might not be the problem. Tried to get customer support and NO ANSWER
