Yes on something that old its very possible. I would start the unit then one at a time crack the injector line to the cylinder head for each injector. Listen to the engine to see if a noticeable running variation can be heard r seen. Normally if the injector is working it will cuase the motor to lose rpm and a reasonable skip will occur. Wen you do this and do not see a difference in engine operation its a good sign your on the right cylinder problem area. Also a valve can stick so a compression test is advised when injectors are removed.
