TS115A New Holland tractor will no longer lift implements on

Customer Question

Hi TS115A New Holland tractor will no longer lift implements on the 3 pt linkage. it will go a little of the way up. it can suddenly spring up sometimes if you play around with the controls to the spool valves (particularly the blue handle). The tractor has only done around 3000 hours. The local dealership had the tractor for ten days in their workshop but appear to have done little to fix the issue. They advised using the 'fast raise button' rather than (the manual) position control lever. I would be grateful if you could provide details of what the cause is likely to be? thanks

Is this controlled by 2 levers?

or Electronic Draft control 2 knobs?

Also if you could give me the serial number so I can tell what hydraulic pump(s) set up it has.

What did the Dealership say the remote flow and pressure was?

Have you had a chance to look at this yet?

The model number is: PC/PCC78X1/TS115A
The serial number is: ACP272033
It is contolled by two levers. First thing in the day the 3 pt linkage works ok but when the tractor heats up, to get the plough (for example) out of the ground you really have to jiggle the blue spool handle or the brown handle which moves the pick up hitch in and out. the spool valves appear unaffected by the issue. thanks

The lever closest to the seat (Draft) should be all the way forward.

the other you will use to raise and lower implement.

Does the system work using the "Fast Raise"?

You might also look at the attached. We have had a few problems with the lever linkage not moving the internal shafts. in our case we had to add move ref # ***** shims to tighten things up.

We have had the tractor since new. The issue has just developed position of draft control lever does not rectify fault. Are you out of ideas?

did you look at the attachment? Are the internal shafts moving?

If they are then you will need to remove and have the internal Draft linkage adjusted.

Does the cab need to be taken off to remove and ajust the internal draft linkage? Thanks

We don’t remove the cab, but we have made a special tool to remove the 3 point cover.

You remove the remote valves the external linkage, and hoses.

Then we have a 4 foot 1” x 1” tube/ bar mounted on a Cherry Picker, approx. 1 ‘ of bar is on the engine hoist with a threaded rod against the upper arm to be able to level the tube / rod, then a flat plate welded on the end with hole drilled to match the holes in the 3 point cover.

Bolt on the flat plate jack up the Cherry Picker until internal piston will clear the diff housing.
