Customer Question

We have a New Holland HW305 Swather that is telling us that the mfh is not in neutral. It will not go into forward or reverse gears easily. What should we be looking at to see what the problem may be, or what might the problem be?

Looks to be all mechanical linkage from the shifter to the hydrostat. I think you have a support bearing that is binding up the linkage and shaft. You just need to get in there and unhook the linkage and find the tight spot. Once the linkage moves free, you will be able to get it in neutral and turn out the light, so it will start!
