I have a 310d that will not get out of Park. I turned it on

Customer Question

I have a 310d that will not get out of Park. I turned it on off 30 times and it finally came off. I went to use it again and turning it on and off no longer works. Is there a way I can manualy disconnect the park brake? Or is there a seloniod needs replacement.

Unpin the actuator cylinder from the park brake linkage and it will let you drive, less the park brake. Either the solenoid is not working, or the actuator cylinder is leaking.
