Benjy, I'm wondering if used the correct UTF when I drained

Customer Question

Hi Benjy,
I'm wondering if used the correct UTF when I drained a refilled my rear axle housing on my 1966 Ford 3000 Tractor. I used Shell Rotella HD. It says it works for Ford M2C134 A through D. My 3 point hitch now only raises if I increase the idle (race the motor). I haven't tried with a load on it yet. It used to work at idle, up and down.

Looks to be the correct oil! What did the oil look like that you drained? Some of the older tractors had 80-90 wt and was used if there was a lot of wear.
