To work on power shuttle, do you need to split the tractor? I am asking because we have a 2004 Massey Ferguson/AGCO 5455 in a shop because it just stopped -- all control lights went out on the stick. The tractor was not under load, only an empty hay trailer (small 8-bale size) going down hill. No load on front or rear. We are hearing from techs at local shop that they have to split the tractor to fix pressure plate rivets that are sheered off. That sounds like transmission work they did last year. Can you help us figure out what's up here?
