I am considering buying a boat with twin Yanmar engines, 4T954E-SM. I cannot find any information on the web for these

I do Yanmar engines and here is what I can tell you. If you shorten the numbers you gave me of 4T954E-SM to just 4T95, 4T95 is a Yanmar tractor engine. For like a Yanmar YM7000 tractor. These are agricultural tractors, bigger ones, like Yanmars version of a John Deere. And they are older, late 70's early 80's engines.

Whatever your looking at is one of a kind. And somebody pulled the engines out of an old Yanmar tractor, did lord knows what to them, and stuck them in a boat.

Other than that, did you have any questions about them? (I would probably pass on the boat, it already sounds like it would be a headache/project)
