If there is no change in the remote cylinder, I would want to check the power steering cylinder, turn it all the way in either direction, remove the hose opposite the pressure. Then pressure up the cylinder in same direction as before and see if there is any leakage through the cylinder, If you get oil pouring through the cylinder, you know cylinder is bad. I know you have rebuilt it a year ago, but it is still is the place to start.
