Hi my name isXXXXX will try to help. Drain the fuel bowl on the carburetor and clean it out. Note any rust, etc.. Check the fuel lines for cracks, leaks, or dry rot and replace if found. Make sure there is fresh gas and no water or bad gas in the tank. If it has been sitting over a month, drain the tank and start fresh. Try running from a separate container to see if the problem resolves. If it does then flush the tank and start with new gas after cleaning the carb and replacing any bad fuel lines. If it is shutting off like you turned off the switch then check the seat switch and pto clutch switch. Try bypassing with a jumper for test purposes only. Reply back with your results and if you need further help with this
