Where did you put the fluid? Why is there no fluid in the transmission sight glass? How much oil did you have to add?

I thought the oil was sucked from the transmission case.??
Customer:
fluid was added to hydraulic rservoir tank on right side of tractor. I can't determine why fluid is not going to the transmission. it took nearly 50 gallons of fluid. I thought the reservouir supplied the fluid to the transmission.
