Good morning
The hydraulic reservoir is a housing located under the seat of the tractor. On the rear of the tractor where that housing attach's to the differential and bull gear housing, is a 3/4 inch pipe plug which drains the hydraulic reservoir. Standing behind the tractor, on the right top of the reservoir is another 3/4 pipe plug where you fill the reservoir. (Takes a small mouth funnel with a straw or small piece of plastic tubing stuck in it so it can get air as the fluid goes in) otherwise it will be a very slow filling process). The hydraulic fluid level is recommended to be to the bottom of that filler hole. However, as long as there is enough fluid in the reservoir to cover the suction filter ( locater on the front of the reservoir just to the right of the control valve) then the system will work fine. If your tractor has power steering, and the steering goes limp when you start up a hill, the fluid level is not covering the suction filter, and you need to add some.
