My jd 4400 hydro 4x4 diesel is having some issues. The transmission seems to shift fine, the pto works, but the tractor grinds and will barely move. Also, the steering is real jerky like the power steering is going in and out. All started at the same time. i also found that if i had the pto on( brush mower engaged) that the ydro seemed to have no power.

It sounds like ether the hydraulic filter is partially plugged up, or the hydraulic pump is going out, it runs both the trans and the power steering.spanky
